Leveraging the power of brand can help transform public schools.

We’re using our expertise in building industry-leading brands to help public schools reinvent themselves.
At the core of every transformation is the need to move from where you are today, to the future that you envision. This is what we’ve been doing for clients like Hopkins Public Schools, Edmentum, 3M Company, Questar Assessments and many others for more than 25 years.
A proven process that reduces risks. We’ll lead you through the process every step of the way, managing the details so you don’t have to. And when we’re finished, we can remain engaged for as short (or long) a period of time as you want, offering varying levels of support to ensure you’re successful. Think of us as a temporary extension of your leadership team.

Our 5-step approach to public school branding
1. DISCOVERY
Leading you through a 3-part inquiry process, we uncover your most pressing issues. It starts with a discovery phase where we learn about your school, district and community. Then we immerse ourselves in the culture of your school district. This helps us understand what makes your brand unique and how we can best support your goals.
2. INSIGHTS
Next comes the research phase where we collect data and feedback through a combination of surveys, interviews and focus groups. We make sure that we hear from all your key stakeholders: educators, parents, students and the school board.
3. ACTION PLAN
Based on what we learn in the first two phases, we then conduct a series of workshops with the school or district’s leadership team. The purpose is to develop a shared understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing your district.
From there, we create a plan to address those with the greatest impact. This often includes creating a brand platform that defines your school’s unique value proposition and brand strategy, including positioning and messaging.
4. ACTIVATION
Your brand platform becomes the foundation for all of our work going forward and ensures that everyone is aligned with your school district’s brand identity.
Then comes the fun part (or so we’re told), developing your new branding elements — including your visual identity, brand guidelines, creative campaigns, website and communications materials. This brings your new brand to life.
5. PROGRESS CHECKS
For the first six months (or as long as you want), we’ll meet with you and your team periodically to review your progress helping to ensure success. After each review, we’ll provide you with actionable steps you can take to either continue building momentum or course-correct.
