The Challenge After more than eight years, Fredrikson & Byron, a leading law firm in the Upper Midwest, embarked on a significant brand evolution, changing its working name, logo and visual identity. They engaged us to help them create awareness among clients, community partners and the broader legal community.

The challenge was twofold: to ensure the transition from Fredrikson & Byron to Fredrikson captured attention and was memorable, while reinforcing that the firm’s trusted team, service and legal expertise remained unchanged.

The Solution  Recognizing the power of well-designed video and motion graphics, we used both to design a bold brand activation campaign.

From a brand launch video, and series of motion graphic videos to static advertising templates, we created a memorable, integrated advertising system that would cut through the clutter and stand apart from other ads in the industry.

Producing ongoing content is important for every business. So, we gave Fredrikson a head start by creating a series of seven short videos for use in digital marketing campaigns. Fresh and dynamic motion graphics help cut through visual clutter and grab attention.

One Cohesive Story. Seven Key Messages.
Told through dynamic motion graphics, these seven unique messages help Fredrikson better tell its story. The first introduces the brand identity, while the next six communicate each key message in a dynamic, memorable way.

Print and Online Ad Templates with Guidelines
Making it easier for in-house team members to create on-brand ads quickly, we created a system of templates and examples complete with guidelines. These tools improved their team’s efficiency to better support the firm’s continued expansion.

Further Expanding the Brand Identity
Following the brand launch, Fredrikson asked us to help them expand their visual system. They wanted more flexibility to keep the design fresh and engaging over time. We developed a versatile pattern element using key elements of their visual identity — the triangle and color palette. Easy-to-use templates for PowerPoint and social media ensure consistency across platforms.
